The clutch was slipping on my Rockster with @17k on the odo. I’ve it aside now and located the disk oil fouled. Initially, I suspected the clutch slave as I see it’s a widespread failure and the nicely it sits in was actually stuffed with fluid. On nearer inspection, nevertheless, I famous that the fluid seemed and smelled like gear oil and was a lot darker than what’s within the clutch hydraulics. The rear seal on the enter shaft would not look nice both so I think that’s the actual downside (though I will change the slave as nicely).
Can anybody affirm the rear seal on the enter shaft could be changed externally or supply any suggestions for finishing that job? I consider it’s #2 within the connected components diagram.
