Motorcycle Book Review: The Perfect Vehicle

I discovered this e-book, copyrighted in 1997, in a used bookstore on the fairly dusty, backside shelf of the transportation part sandwiched between a e-book on London busses and one other on 1960 airliners.  How may I not buy a e-book about bikes titled The Perfect Vehicle?

“The Perfect Vehicle” by Melissa Holbrook Pierson brought about some struggles inside as I learn and now write about this e-book. Overall, I loved and even associated to tales of discovering and exploring motorcycling. Her infatuation with Moto Guzzi and the work to take care of it in operational situations mirrors many people and our experiences.

Her descriptions of using to Laconia bike rallies or touring the Blue Ridge Parkway have been enjoyable to learn. As was her journey to Europe and using on a borrowed Moto Guzzi. She associated each the tribulations and the exhilaration of motorcycling.

My downside is that both I’ve overlayed trendy context on a e-book from the late Nineties or Ms. Pierson appear to be biased.  At instances I felt condensation for these issues that aren’t of New York City or European. That she wouldn’t approve of me or my decisions as a result of I didn’t match a selected mould/view.

Like I stated possibly I’m projecting or possibly I’m not, I’ll by no means know. However, I loved the e-book properly sufficient to offer it 4 out of 5 stars.  If you discover the e-book, it’s well worth the learn, and I want to see your ideas.
